What were some particular events during the genocide where people died?Yes there were events in Srebrenica and Zepa in which greater number of people died. In June 1995 more than 8,000 Muslim Bosniaks, mostly men and boys, were killed by the Bosnian Serb Army of Republika Srpska and the paramilitary group the Scorpions. There was a total of 8,373 deaths in Srebrenica. The ethnic cleansing campaign was another event where people were killed. It included murder, rape, sexual assault, torture, beating, robbery and inhumane treatment of civilians. The Bosnian Serbs also destroyed many homes, businesses, and places of worship. "In 2005, the United States Congress passed a resolution declaring that "the Serbian policies of aggression and ethnic cleansing meet the terms defining genocide"(Wikipedia).
